Art Teaching Interim

Had a fantastic time teaching 6th-8th graders for 10 weeks at West Middle School this year! Not only did this confirm my true love of teaching art, it also made me realize that I'm really good at it! I love being able to push a student to produce their best possible art, and then see them realize their own possibilities as a person.

In addition to the regular art lessons, we also participated in an international art contest hosted by the Mount Gilead Lion's club. Our 1st place winner, Layla M. went onto the state regionals and took 4th place out of 50 other students. That was awesome! Here is her drawing representing Peace; Our world, our future:
